Additional options

If you want us to sell your timber for you the costs of harvesting and processing your trees will be paid out of the proceeds from the sale of your timber. We will deduct a mutual agreed percentage of the proceeds as our compensation for managing the harvesting, processing and sale of your trees, and as motivation to obtain the highest prices for you.

As trees grow they help stop global warming by removing carbon dioxide from the air, storing carbon in the trees and the soil, and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere.  If you want to compensate your carbon footprint we offer the option to keep your trees forever on our tree farms for an additional one-time maintenance fee per tree.

You can opt for including these options in the purchase agreement or you may decide at a later date.

Certificate of ownership

After we reach an agreement on the terms and conditions and receive your payment you will first receive a certificate of ownership stating the number of trees and trees species, and the expected planting period. Once your trees are planted we will record them in our Tree Registry stating their quantity and species, their planting year, the farm where they are growing, and their exact row and column number within the farm. Your trees will also be identified in the field as your trees. A second and final certificate of ownership of your trees will be sent to you via registered mail six months after the planting date stating the exact location of your trees, their planting year, the farm where they are growing and their exact row and column number within the farm, and the terms and conditions of the agreement. The six months is needed to make sure we only list the trees that are established.

You will not own the land your trees are growing on. That would be too expensive. But you will actually have title to your trees from the time they are planted in the field until they are harvested.

At each harvest you may choose to keep the timber from your trees for your own use or sell it yourself. Or if you prefer we will sell your hardwood for you and send you the proceeds.

Your trees and the tropical hardwoods they produce are yours to enjoy!!
