Our offer

When you decide that tropical hardwoods fits into your long-term investment strategy you can purchase any number of mahogany trees (with a minimum of 1,000 trees) you would like to own and we will plant and take care of your trees on our tree farms in Palawan for up to 25 years exactly as we do our own trees. The price per mahogany tree is US$ 40. This covers the cost of the seedlings and subsequent agro forestry operations such as land preparation, planting, fertilizing, watering, weed control, pruning, fire protection and prevention and finally administrative management and the cost of the use of the land for up to 25 years.

We provide quantity discounts and we can adapt our payment terms to your needs.

Options

If you want us to sell your timber for you the costs of harvesting and processing your trees will be paid out of the proceeds from the sale of your timber. We will deduct a mutual agreed percentage of the proceeds as our compensation for managing the harvesting, processing and sale of your trees, and as motivation to obtain the highest prices for you.

We offer the flexibility to decide whether to harvest the trees in any given year. A two to five year window for harvesting trees gives you some leeway in the timing of market cycles. With this so-called option value of timber you can leave your trees in weak price regions “on the stump”.

We offer you the option to keep your trees forever on our tree farms for an additional one-time maintenance fee per tree. You may want to consider this option if you want to compensate your carbon footprint or if you just like trees.

Guarantees

Nursery with mahogany seedlings We will plant 10% more trees than you ordered to cover mortality losses that normally occur in the first three years. We guarantee in writing that we will replant or replace in the first three years at no cost to you any tree that is not growing properly for whatever reason. When you visit our tree farm any time after your trees are planted and you are not satisfied with the condition of your trees we will replace them with new planted trees without any cost to you. Finally, if we agree that we will sell your trees for you we will delay deducting our compensation for managing the harvesting, processing and sale of your trees from the proceeds of the harvest until you first receive your initial investment.
